Freelance journalist and photographer since 1999, contributing to Total Carp,
Advanced Carp, Carpworld, Crafty Carper, Carp Fisher and many other titles.
Responsible for photographing four different British record fish including barbel,
chub, goldfish and carp – Two Tone at 61 lb 2 oz caught by Lee Jackson.
Formerly ran bait company Crafty Catcher for three years, continuing today to
formulate and manufacture baits such as Squirrel through Underground Baits.
Qualified as an angling coach, passing the Level Two certificate from 1st4Sport
Qualifications in September 05. Actively involved in tuition for many years,
through organisations such as CEMEX, the Angler’s Conservation Association
and Angler’s Mail, Windsor Council and also privately.
Employed part time at Sparsholt College, Winchester teaching angling sections
of the National and First Diploma courses.
Retained marketing and product development consultant for Leeda since 2002,
having helped establish and develop the Wychwood brand. Previously a
